The batteries charge from standard 220V outlets found at home. Lithium-ion batteries have no memory effect, so you don't need to wait for your battery to be completely discharged before charging it. To get the longest life out of your battery, it's best to charge it after each use, or at least once a day if used daily. If not used for a long time, it should be charged once a month. All kits include smart chargers that stop charging when the battery is fully charged, so there's no harm in leaving your bike plugged in for charging at all times.
